The rotating direction of the Recycler DS Full Equipment is not reversible. Therefore, reverse rewinding is not available.

[1] Reverse Rewinding

● By rewinding the fishing line from the small spool onto the large coaxial spool using the hand roller, the tip and tail of the line can be swapped (rewound reversely).

Benefits of Reverse Winding

● For polyethylene (PE) line that is wound on a reel
→ The reverse winding of the line means the line on the unused side will become the tip.

● When winding a new PE line on a reel that requires underwinding
→ First, wind the PE line on the reel and then wind the underwound line over it until it is right. You can wind the PE line perfectly at once by winding the entire line in reverse.

[1] Reverse Rewinding

☝ Mechanism for smooth reverse rewinding

Two spools with different diameters are combined so that the diameter of the small spool with the line wound on it will not exceed the diameter of the large spool.
By doing so, the large spool, which winds the line when it is rotated, has a moderately high winding force for the small spool that feeds the line. The insufficient feed volume from the small spool enables smooth reverse rewinding as the small spool slips while maintaining moderate tension.

● Fishing line desalination is possible by winding the line onto a small spool with desalination holes and soaking the entire small spool in warm water.

● The spool is provided with a line hook to secure the end of the line.

● The line wound on the reel will be extracted and discarded by removing the ring on the large spool.

Caution!

● Do not touch the rotating shaft or spools. Failure to do so may result in injury.
● Do not grab the line during line winding. Doing so may result in injury, such as cutting your fingers on the line.
● Bolts and tightening nuts may loosen due to vibration or movement. Check from time to time to see if they are tight enough.
● Do not make a sudden stop when rewinding in reverse. The line may become tangled.
● Consider the indicated spool winding as a rough guide.
